This is a project I've wanted to try for a while. All you need is a fat quarter of one fabric and 1/2 a yard of another. I made the first one (the one I'm modeling) for my sister's birthday, along with a set of matching scrappy coasters. Oh, and don't ask what the heck I'm doing in this photo. That's what you get when you hire a six year old photographer!
The tutorial is from JonaG.
I liked this one so much I made a couple more, and I have another one in the works. Pardon the photography, the six year old photographer was too busy playing barbies - and taking pictures of myself, by myself, not so good.
This one went to my sister in law with a set of coasters.
SO awesome! I love aprons and have two (thanks Mom!!). ;)
ReplyDeleteMy sister also makes some cool ones, with coordinating tea towels, on her site -- check it out for inspiration! http://www.etsy.com/shop/redpajamashome
